Golf Course Information
Hey, have you herd? We've ponied up millions of dollars to make sure Western Skies is big and beautiful enough to live up to its name.
Lasso some friends (relatives if you have to) and ride the range in one of our new electric carts, or walk if that's your pleasure. There are 3 sets of tees so the course can play as friendly or as challenging as you wish.
Generous landing areas and devilish water hazards on 5 holes make this traditional style course a runaway favorite among those 'in the know'. Fairways not only frequently reveal pleasant mountain views, they are lined with mature Mesquite and Pinon, lending a 'day out in the countryside' feel to the course.
Western Skies is the course of choice for those with a choice of course. Say that five times fast in Mulligans and get a free drink, on the house.
You'll be lucky if you make par (3) on hole #13. It's a reasonable 186 yards, but you must carry the water to a well-protected, heavily bunkered green. Remember, you can lead a golf ball to water, but it doesn't have to sink!
Hole #16 is no gi'me either. Another par 3, it's longer at 200 yards, and defended by intriguing bunkers. You'll need to carefully drop your shot pin high to negotiate the back to front sloping green.
