SunRidge Canyon reopens October 4, 2013

Beginning with the announcement of a new leadership team, owners Don and Cindy Misheff look forward to the Fall and Spring season. Ron Rupert, Course Superintendent, will continue to oversee all facilities. Kris Starr will expand her duties from buying and sales to Director of Operations and Wes Neal, Head Golf Professional, will oversee Golf Operations and Outside Services.

During the summer closure the course and facilities received significant attention including:
* two deep aerifications of all greens
* leveling and reseeding of 31 tee boxes
* significant de-vegetation of numerous overgrown areas
* the softening of several key landing areas and bunkers
* the addition of family tees
* the purchase of Visage GPS system for all 80 carts

Consistent with the Misheffs' philosophy of partnering with best in class service providers like their existing exclusive relationships with The Jim McClean Schools, Hot Stix, and Method Athlete they have formed a partnership with Michelin 5 star 5 diamond chef Michael O'Dowd and concert promoter Ed Leclere to operate all Food and Beverage and entertainment at SRC. O'Dowd/Leclere will open the Wicked 6 Bar and Grill by MOD, named after the courses acclaimed finishing stretch, on October 4th. Members of The Guess Who will be featured at the opening and this will be free to the public.

The restaurant has been completely refurbished including a show kitchen, an outdoor pizza kitchen/bar and a Chefs table and wine room. The interior redecorating reflects a new upbeat vibe. The new partnership will also operate the redesigned beverage carts and the Roadhouse Grill at the turn.
