Sizzling Summer Rates at Tegavah Golf Club Just East of North Scottsdale

The temperatures may be over 100 degrees for the foreseeable future and that means deals at Valley golf courses. The Tegavah Golf Club, formerly known as Vista Verde Golf Club in Rio Verde, is offering a $49 summer pass that provides the golfers with a great value for an exceptional course. Rates are as low as $30 a round for summer pass holders - a steal given golfers were paying $130 during the recent peak winter/spring season. The summer pass with the lower rates is good until September 21, 2014 and offers unlimited rounds at the best rate, guaranteed, including up to three guests per day in the pass holders foursome.

"This is an excellent opportunity to experience a top notch course with extraordinary views," said Brett Trenter, Tegavah Golf Club general manager. New food and beverage operations have been added to the course offerings, as well as other player experience enhancements like new carts and restrooms. The course is managed by OB Sports.

The public-play, par-72 championship course is a desert jewel, and it is as beautiful as it is fun to play. Native vegetation and natural desert washes are incorporated into the design, and the views of the McDowell and Mazatzal Mountains look just like what you'd see in an Arizona tourism book - impressive beyond imagination. Majestic saguaro cactus dot the landscape along with an array of beautiful indigenous plants, which sprout vibrant flowers in the spring.

Golf course architect Ken Kavanaugh created a course that offers cerebral strategy, elevating the player experience to select the right angle of attack and the opportunity to use every club in their bag. "The best golf experience is rooted in a variety of difficulty, scale, look, orientation, and views. If you've maximized variety then you've maximized memorability," noted Kavanaugh.
